About Us

Robert Torres graduated from the University of Bridgeport in December 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. With over 15+ years of experience in accounting/business management, Robert has held many different positions throughout his career in different industries. 

Robert held the roles of Accountant, Senior Accountant and Accounting Supervisor in his tenure in the car rental industry early in his career. Here he learned the ins and outs of common accounting knowledge, accounting software and skills to run successful branches within the company. Robert then moved to an Accounting Manager role for a major beverage distributor out of New Jersey. He was 3rd in command in the Finance Department, answering to the Controller and CFO. Here he learned inventory control, cost reduction and was a leader for his department of 15+ employees. Robert then took an opportunity in the Tradeshow industry as a Controller/Human Resources Lead/Operational Manager for another company based out New Jersey. He helped run the accounting and daily operations and worked hand in hand with the CEO and owner to accomplish business goals and aspirations. He also teamed with Project Management and Sales to help create a culture and structure that pushed the business forward. His must current role is a Controller/Business Manager for a small pharmaceutical company based out of northern New Jersey. Here he helped guide the business with cost savings, revamped their reporting/accounting structure and helped through the likes of Covid-19 to secure funding to keep the business going through difficult times. Other positions Robert has held throughout his career is a tax preparer for local C.P.A.'s and Tax Professionals. Robert has 10+ years experience in tax preparation for individuals.

Robert's experience has gained him many different viewpoints into how businesses are run and what it takes for success. He uses not only his experience and accounting knowledge, but puts effort into learning new and effective solutions to helping small businesses solve any issues or reach their business goals.

Lastly, Robert is based out of Highland Mills, NY. He is a father of twin boys and husband to teacher in Orange County, NY. He is a volunteer coach for local baseball and basketball teams. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and always tries to put his best foot forward. Robert aspires to be a C.P.A. in the near future.
